SECURING THE HELP OF GOD ,, PASTOR DAVID IBIYEOMIE

In life, it is not your strength that determines your success because God said – By strength shall no man prevail. It is not your will that determines how you will become successful because God said – It is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that showeth mercy. It is not your skill that determines how strong you will become because the race is not to the strong nor to the skillful for time and chance happen to them all.

1Sam 2:9b -…for by strength shall no man prevail.

Rom.9:16 -So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Eccl.9:11 -I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The day you forsake the help of God, you will be helpless. Your destiny becomes secured when you bank on the help of God and God’s help is coming to you now in the name of Jesus!

Psalm 121:1-2 -I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. ² My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

You cannot be connected to the Alpha and no go far in life. If a man should help you, you will stop where his capacity stops but if God is your helper, you have no limit. That strange hand of help is coming from God to you now to change that hopeless situation in the name of Jesus!

It is the help of God that makes a man go far life. You don’t go too far thinking you can do it all alone.

Psalm 127:1 -Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

You cannot be helpless or stranded if you know how to link up with God. There is a place of grace that people forsake that make them end up in disgrace. When you recognize the place of grace, life becomes great. There is a place God helps you that man cannot help you.

Jer.17:5 -Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

There are people that have promised you things but did not fulfil it but God cannot say a thing and not fulfil it because God is not a man that should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? {Num.23:19}.

If God says something, He has the ability capability and extra-ordinary strength to do it. That is why I know that what God said concerning you will surely happen in the name of Jesus! God will visit you today! You will not be helpless after today! God will change your story in the name of Jesus!

Heb.4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Therefore, when you approach God, help comes from Him. It is impossible for man to be in despair when he leans on the Omnipotent God as his helper. Without the help from above, you will be helpless on earth but with the help from above, you cannot be helpless on earth.

Many people don’t get the help of God because they trust in their expertise, skills and qualifications but have you not seen 1^st class students being employed by 3^rd class? If qualification is the only criterion for lifting, only the 1^st class graduates will be successful but life is not like that. So, don’t think your qualification is the answer. When God helps a man, he will move from the prison to the palace. Your story is about to change now in the name of Jesus!

Acts 26:22a - Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day,…

So, continuity is impossible without the help of God. When you engage the help of God, you will enjoy breakthrough unlimited; from one level of breakthrough to another. Where your strength stops, that is where His starts; He will just step in and make things to work. God will step in, in His majesty, to change that situation of yours! No matter the cross-road, a miracle is coming to you now! Help is coming for you in the name of Jesus!

Psalm 60:11-12 - Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. ¹² Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

You need the help of God to overcome the enemy and his agents if you must succeed. Everyone after your life, God will turn the table against him/her! All the gang-up against you will fall right now! Whoever is fighting will be alive to see you go up in the name of Jesus!

When God helps a man, no matter the crowd gathered against him, he will still be the winner. Joseph’s brothers hated him so much but when the help of God came, it took him from the prison to the palace. Though people have mocked you but today, God’s help will change your position! It will move from the back to the front! It will carry you from nobody to somebody! What has never happened in your life will happen before this month is over! You will have a testimony in the name of Jesus!

God suspended human laws and timings for Sarah. When God wants to help a man, decrees, laws and policies will all be suspended. In the natural, no medical situation could have made her to be pregnant but when God’s help came down, everything was suspended. Joseph was an illiterate, a non- citizen and an ex-convict but all those policies were suspended when God’s help came.

Laws will be suspended for your sake! Policies will change for your sake in the name of Jesus. If everything that happens to you is natural, there will be no need for God’s help; that is why He is called SuperNatural God. Today, He will visit you in the name of Jesus! He maketh a way where there is no way - He will turn that obstacle into a testimony in the name of Jesus!
