Vice Chairman Ogbia Local Government Council Hon Ebinyo Turner's Family House at Opume town was invaded by unknown guy men.
Caretaker Committee Chairman Ogbia local government council, Hon Naomi Benjamin Ogoli has stressed on the need for synergy among community leaders to curb insecurity.
Council boss stated this when she led a high power delegation on a visit to her vice chairman Hon Ebinyo Turner in his community over the invasion by unidentified gunmen.
Council boss stressed again that security of lives and property are top priority of her administration and warned the perpetrators of such acts to desist and repeat from their act. And she also appreciated God for there was no loss of life and security agencies for the quick response to the scene of the incident. She assured the family that investigation is seriously on going to lend the arrest of the unknown armed robbers.
She said, her administration would not condone any form of vices capable of breaching the existing peace in the Ogbia kingdom.
Council boss while sympathizing with the family of Chief Gbali Turner and also particularly advised residents to be vigilant and furnish security agencies with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the culprits.
The father of the vice chairman Chief Gbali Turner described the incident as barbaric and inhuman, appreciated council boss for identifying with them and appealed to government to beef up security to prevent reoccurrence because this is the fourth time this act is happening to his family.
Similarly, the governor representative ogbia local government area, called for collaborative efforts which he noted would stop incessant attacks in the area.
