“We Don’t Just talk Peace, We Represent Peace by Our Activities and Attitude” were the exact words of the Chairman Board of Directors, Elano Investments limited, Chief Gomba Okanje having been Awarded Ambassador for Peace by the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Center (UN-POLAC).
Okanje expressed delight at the meritorious honour been accorded him by the UN POLAC and called on well-meaning Nigerians to join hands with the UN to spread peace “As you can see, we Don’t Just talk Peace, we represent peace by our activities and attitude and I believe if we can all join hands with this organization to spread peace, it will aid development because a peaceful society will transform into an egalitarian society and also a developed world”.
Chief Okanje further reiterated his position in the chain of societal development and charged young ones to tour the path peace at all times “I will continue to preach and demonstrate what I stand for which is the development of our people and we will continue to tell the young ones that it is through peace that progress can take place”Present at the occasion was the Deputy Governor of River State Mrs Ipalibo Banigo who represented His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, ChiefBar. Nyesom Wike (CON) and a host of others.
