As a project usually nominated
into a budget by a particular
legislator majorly for the socioeconomic development of his or her constituency has today come to the light of the day as Hon. Mrs. Betty Okagua Apiafi, Member representing Abua/Odual-Ahoada East Federal Constituency, who nominated for the total equipment and furnishing of the Abua General Hospital has successfully completed the project. Reports reaching our Ahoada East Media Crew from the event has it that the quantity and quality of the equipment delivered by Hon. Mrs. Betty Apiafi are second to none, and that Abua General Hospital could be one of the best hospitals in Rivers State, so as to compliment the developmental stride of Governor Wike, Hon. Betty Apiafi has delivered the dividends of democracy to her constituency, a leader with difference, like no other.
Mrs. Cecilia Amadi, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Rivers State, who was accompanied by other officials from the ministry of Health in supervising the equipment and furniture spoke of the ingenuity of Hon. Mrs. Betty Apiafi in her selection to equip and furnish the hospital. She stated that she is pleased with Hon.Mrs. Betty's choice of constituency project. Clarifying that instead of selecting a projects that will take a long time to accomplish, and some instances abandoned midway, that this project is precise and people oriented, and she completed it without a fuss.
