THE FREEDOM OF THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE IS NOT A FAVOUR FROM ANOTHER TO US, RATHER IT REMAINS OUR BASIC HUMAN RIGHT.
THAT THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA HAVE FOUGHT WARS AGAINST INJUSTICE IS WELL DOCUMENTED, I LAY CLAIM TO SUCH HERITAGE.
To get out of the evil amalgamation of 1914, my people will not blindly go into another amalgamation without discussing.
In my LGA in Rivers state the people occupying the creeks, mangroves, swamps, rivers and fishing ports are Ijaws and our language and culture are distinct.
Any lies that Kalabari Kingdom was ever co-owned by non Kalabari because of maps, remains disputed by our highly documented history.
No amount of hate, lies, blackmail or insults will stop me or the NDSDM from standing on the call for all Ethnic Nationalities of Niger Delta to speak for themselves. Since the inception of NDSDM in 2014 our mission have been each
'Ethnic Nationality owning and using it's own voice, only then can we have the unity that will sustain our collective future.'
Whether One ethnic nationality is one LGA and another twenty three LGAs, NDSDM believe WE ARE EQUAL, NO ETHNIC NATIONALITY IS SUPERIOR DUE TO ITS SIZE this is the only way we can build a coalition of Liberty, Equity and Justice on the platform of Truth and Mutual Respect.
The NDSDM have seen and heard enough in the past 6 months to know that we will not go into alliances without transparent, observed and documented discussion.
NDSDM IS DETERMINED TO PUT OUR TRUST AND FEAR IN GOD FIRST.
THE CONFIDENCE AND COMMITMENT OF THE NIGER DELTA PEOPLE TO SURVIVE AND BUILD OUR NATION IS IN OURSELVES FIRST AND THEN OTHERS.
If you are in an examination hall with your brother do you leave your papers and write your brother's first? OF COURSE NOT.
If Niger Delta decide to work with friends, neighbours and brothers it will be on mutual respect.
