The War of You by Marcus Rogers
The War of You
2nd Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
You have to make a choice to be free. I don't care what the enemy is using against you to keep you bound. You have access to victory through the word of God, worship, praise and faith. No matter how dark it is around you, all you have to do is get plugged in. God will not stop you from plugging in to His power source. The only thing stopping you is you. You can plug in to the word, plug in to worship, plug into prayer as long as you want. It's your personnel choice how bad you want to be set free. It is your personnel choice how bad you want deliverance. It is your personnel choice how bad you want to make it into the promise land.
Break ties to addiction, lust, pride and bad relationships that keep you from the presence of God. I learned the hard way that people can bring you down, and you must be wise about who you connect to. It might hurt, but in order for you to run after God you can no longer be a slave to sin, bad influences, and people who do not share the same mind as you.
Stop being a slave to the enemies tricks, lies, and temptations. You have the keys to be free from the chains. It is simply your choice to pick them up. It is your choice to win. It is your choice to overcome. It is your choice to experience the liberty that is found in Jesus Christ.
You can not have one foot in the world and one foot in the church. Today is your day. Right now is your moment to change the course of the rest of your life. Do not stay in chains because everyone else around you is comfortable in theirs. Do not remain a slave because everyone else around you has embraced and learned to love their chains, sin, and addiction. Break free.... and run the race set before you.
