THE WAR NEVER ENDED IN 1970:
IT ONLY ADVANCED FROM MILITARY STRANGULATION TO ECONOMIC STRANGULATION
When many talk about the Nigeria Biafra war, they used to say it ended in the year 1970, January 15 when the second President of Biafra, Major General Philip Effiong handed over the sovereignty of Biafra to Nigeria.
In fact the real war against Biafrans started after 1970. 1967 to 1970 was actually the period of genocide where over 5million Biafrans were slain with guns and hunger.
When we handed over, we thought it was the end not knowing it was just the beginning of living hell.
First of all, they attacked our resources, stole everything we have in our account and gave us only 20pounds to lick our wounds.
They stole our houses and rendered us homeless in our own region but gave us back our houses in their regions.
The question is, why did they steal our houses in Port Harcourt (Biafra) and gave us back our houses in Western Nigeria and the north?
WHY?
It is easier to see that they did to create hatred between we and our brothers in old Rivers state and to make us feel loved in the north and West. Yes, that was the game.
BUT WHY THE GAME?
Is it because they are afraid to show us they hate us? of course not, they show us everyday. So why the game?
IT WAS FOR ECONOMIC STRANGULATION (the beginning of the real war)
They ensured that we returned to the north after the war and never returns.
Our enemies know that we are developmental machines so they use it against us.
They use us to develop their cities just like the Egyptians used the Israelites to develop Egypt. They use us as their slaves.
So many people think Igbos (Biafrans) travel a lot and stay far away from home because they love to. But they are wrong.
Biafrans love their homes more than any people in this world. This is why you see coastal Biafrans feel hinterland Biafrans want to take over their homes and oppress them. It is the same attitude even in core Igbo land. We always protect our homes from those we feel are invaders even though they are our brothers. Land is a thing of pride in Biafra. We have lots of laws in our customs to protect land and the ownership of lands all over Biafra.
So why do Biafrans leave their lands and are scattered all over Nigeria and the world at large?
NIGERIA DESIGNED IT
From the time they stole our houses in Port Harcourt, they drove non Rivers Biafrans from the Biafran foremost city and invited us to Lagos, Kaduna, Kano etc.
That was just the beginning.
They didn't stop there. They went further to ensure all the seaports in Biafra are either not working or very very expensive for our business men to use.
They didn't stop there, they ensured that our airports are either only local airports or the only international airport is too expensive to patronize.
All these were carefully designed to keep us away from home and have reasons not to come back.
We are Biafrans. We are an economically driven people, that's why they easily bribe our people to abandon the quest for freedom. That's why we can deny our ethnicities provided it doesn't affect the money in our bank accounts. That's why we attack the man we consider an economic threat than the one who is either a religious threat or security threat. Biafrans think economy based and our enemies are aware of all this. We believe in economic independence and will do anything to achieve it and our enemies are aware and they take advantage of it.
OIL
They steal our oil daily. They make our political class steal with them as well without having the power to change it.
This oil stealing affair is way deeper than we think, even the whole of Europe and USA are part of this evil.
Oil is the mainstay of Nigeria's economy while Biafrans are the non governmental agents of development in Nigeria. In fact we are Nigeria's fuel, without Biafra there's no Nigeria. As oil is the mainstay of the economy of the zoo called Nigeria, anytime you hear of billions and trillions are stolen from Nigeria's treasury just know that is stealing from Biafra wealth.
They steal this money and take them to Banks mostly in Europe and USA and these countries do nothing to return it back.
Shell (UK, Dutch) and other multinationals from USA and France come to coastal Biafra to drill our oil polluting our land and air, share the money with Nigeria (Hausa Fulani controlled). They take their portion back home in Europe and America. Nigeria politicians will steal the portion given to them and return it to Europe and American Banks to hide the money so at the end the money is used to develop Europe and America. But when our people travel over there they call us immigrants and kill us if necessary. They call us criminals. They say we are poor and our government is corrupt.
Back home, policies are put in place designed to take us far from home.
Formerly the oil multinationals used to have their headquarters in Biafra but now they have also taken that one away from home to Lagos.
We produce everything but we are not allowed to do it at home. Those who try to set up businesses at home must pay through their nose to get their goods home in Biafra. So most of them just end up in Lagos and Abuja.
DRY PORT
Now the current most evil administration of the zoo have succeeded in fixing dry ports in the desert north. The funniest thing is that even though the goods from these ports come from Lagos in southern Nigeria, it is cheaper to clear goods from it than from Lagos and almost five times less expensive from coastal Biafra (Port Harcourt).
THE END
The restoration of Biafra will bring an end to all this.
Biafran wealth will remain in Biafra and Biafrans will have no need to be scattered all over the world to be seen as criminals and drug dealers.
The world will be better for it because Biafrans will still travel round the world but it will not be for survival but to develop the underdeveloped world.
WE ARE DEVELOPMENT MACHINES
I call on the international community (EU, AU, USA, UK, France) to help put an end to the deliberate war (economic strangulation) on Biafra. BIAFRA problem is bigger than Nigeria. Nigeria can't handle Biafra, if the world refuse to help the world will not be better for it.
