CONGRATULATIONS EZE IGBU UPATA ELECT: DR. FELIX OTOWARIKPO
My joy knew no bounds when it was brought to my knowledge that emene Igbu Upata were to gather at ED London (Edeoha), the traditional headquarters of the Upata people to elect a successor to the all time powerful late Eze Igbu Upata 11, Dr. C.C Nwuche JP, Igwu Ekpeye Logbo. As the day came, I followed up online with wrapped attention as Umegbewe Alabi gave a blow by blow account of proceedings and events live from the ancient Unuama-Igbu Okor, venue of the election of the Eze Igbu Upata 111. At the count of the last ballot, Upata people spoke in one voice as the Electoral body declared the most revered and down to earth Dr. Otowarikpo of Ihuaba Community as Eze Igbu Upata elect. Again, the excellent new media skills of Umegbewe Alabi gave an opportunity for me and millions of Upata sons and daughters, home and abroad who couldn't participate physically to follow up with the wide jubilation that followed the last statement from the mouth of the electoral committee Chairman that declared and announced to the whole world, the emergence of the 3rd King in succession of the Upata people of the Ekpeye ethnic nationality, His Royal Highness, Eze Dr. Felix Otowarikpo. May I therefore on behalf of my dear wife, my children, the George Turnah Foundation, the George Turnah political family, the G-House, as well as Management and Staff of the Celtic Pride Group, congratulate you my King (Eze Upata Elect) Dr. Felix Otowarikpo. I am convinced that your emergence is divine and a fulfillment of destiny. Following your track record and excellent academic standing, I have no doubt in my mind that a new Upata is just birthed. As you prepare to take on the onerous task of providing traditional leadership for our land and people, I wish more than anything else, God's divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding exceeding even that of the biblical Solomon, and pray God's grace and blessings upon you and your throne. I see an Upata that is economically viable, politically strong and infra-structura lly
developed during your reign. Upata people by your election, have made
the best decision ever, and I am optimistic that you will out perform
their expectations. May the gods of Upata Kingdom, and our Heavenly
Father bless, guide and protect you, your throne, your Kingdom and its
people as you reign forever, Amen.
