THE OKIKI HISTORY CHAPTER ONE

The Okiki grand father ogbeyan move from ogbia Nokolo to settle at ologama. Okiki and his brothers ogoin and Ewole left their father Okoroma at ologama in search for peaceful settlement.Okiki who emigrated from ologama with his brother ogoin and Ewole founded Okiki. Ogoin had Emadugo as only surviving son, but also hosted an immigrant called lyafolo from ologoghe. Iyafolo and Emadugo later emerged as d 2 families of Okiki; Emadugo is in Charge of d Adema institution..which means the Royal Family. Being leader of such movement settlement, Okiki was made d first king obanema of d Community. He was very powerful as such d community was named after him.
    Iyafolo was not part of d movement, but it was during d reign of Emadugo, there was a crisis of entrapment at ologoghe, afolo left ologoghe and settle in d Bush, latter he discover hat he is close to powerful Emadugo and he visited him and Emadugo received afolo as a brother. At this point Okiki constituted two 2 group of houses, d Emadugo and iyafolo, with afolo as d founder.
     In 1963, during d reign of chief omoni, d community expanded southwest hen "Ikiogha Enough " a great grandson of Emadugo moved to setbup his settlement opposite otuaguanagu community along d Ekole river, followed by David ISETE, mlkka Enogha among others-thus making d Okiki community visible along d Ekole River.IN BAYELSA NIGERIA
